An initial consultation helps to establish whether Healing Space Counselling will be a match for your needs and expectations and to ensure that you feel comfortable with booking your first session.
You may be wondering if counselling is right for you and if sessions with Healing Space Counselling might help. This is why I offer a 20 min free of charge initial consultation over a telephone call.

It is very common to feel uncomfortable and nervous about the prospect of attending a first counselling session with someone you have never met before. An initial consultation can help to break the ice.

During the initial consultation you may choose to tell me what brings you to counselling and you may have some questions to ask me.

Regular Sessions

Counselling is a type of talk therapy that enables you to be accurately heard and understood. By sharing your thoughts and feelings with a trained counsellor you can safely work through what is going on for you and why you might be feeling the way you do.
Face to face sessions last for 1 hour and are usually held weekly or fortnightly, on the same day and at the same time. Less frequent sessions and longer session times can be discussed, dependent on specific needs.
Counselling sessions last for one hour and cost £40.
The number of sessions that a person wants or needs varies for everyone and we can talk about this as sessions progress.

Online sessions can also be discussed and offered where appropriate and necessary.
