About this payment policy
This payment policy is in place to protect the smooth and continued provision of counselling services.
Your payment confirms your acceptance of and agreement to these Payment Terms.
How to make a payment
Payments should be made by BACS using the bank details provided to you when booking.
Counselling sessions last for one hour and cost £40

When to make a payment
Counselling sessions are scheduled to take place at regular weekly or fortnightly intervals on the same day, time, and location for each session.
A scheduled session becomes a booked session once payment is made.
Sessions need to be paid for a minimum of 48 hours before a scheduled appointment, otherwise the scheduled session will be automatically cancelled. I will notify you of an automatic cancellation of a scheduled session by text.
What happens if a session is cancelled
• Arriving late to a session will result in a shortened session time as sessions need to end on time. Arriving more than 30 minutes late to an appointment may result in me not being able to offer you your session due to limited time being available. If this was the case this would be classed as a late cancellation and so you would still be charged and would not be refunded.
• Failure to show for a booked session is considered a late cancellation and so this will mean that you will still be charged and will not be refunded.
• Your late cancellation of a booked session within 48 hours of your appointment, for instance due to unforeseen unavailability, will result in you still being charged. A discretionary refund may be given in the case of illness. Please notify me of cancellations by text message.
• Your cancellation of a booked session over 48 hours before the appointment would mean that you are entitled to a refund or to carry the payment over to the next scheduled session. Please notify me of cancellations by text message at the earliest opportunity.
• Attending your counselling session under the influence of recreational drugs and/or alcohol will result in your session being cancelled with no entitlement to a refund.
• If I cancel a booked session, for example due to illness or unforeseen availability, then I will inform you by text and issue a full refund or carry the payment over to the next scheduled session.
How to communicate about bookings and payments
